Xbox 360 - Fable 2In this month's Game Informer they finally discussed the game in more detail with a 4-5 page report analyzing it and comparing it as being definitley one of the credits with growing RPG era. It might come out late this year or early next year, but they only guranteed one thing, that it would be fantastic! I can't wait for this game to come out, I'm super pumped up. Especially since Fable 2 was the original reason I bought my Xbox 360 in the first place! |

Picked up my reserved copy today and they jacked me!!! Fable 2 creators gave a $10 rebate to LE buyers including myself because they took out the Hobbe figurine and the collecting cards. But oh well, now that it was only $70, I'll put $10 on GOW2 and get that LE too. | ||

My friend is pretty psyched about this game and I went with him to pick it up. We played co-op for a while, decided to kill everyone that could be killed. Meh, kind of fun. Don't really like the art style, especially the character design. | ||

Yeah, I agree. But you can totally buy xp in the game as which depressed me  I wanted super amounts of money to max out on buying health, and mana potions and armor, but their only seems to be skill stuff to buy.
Ohh, and my LE version came with this Master Chief looking armor and a energy sword, its so pimp lol |

I build a nuclear bomb out of 5kg of plutonium and two paperclips (chipped arrow heads), a rubber band (condom), and a dried up piece of toast I found from under my suit of armor. I blew up the entire Map. Then my Xbox RROD. then I woke up from my happy dream and realized that consoles suck. | ||

no but seriously, I thought that fable 2 looked dumb when i saw the commercial. i didn't like the aerial camer thing and the cartoony style, but it sounds fun, what you guys are talking about. |

Ahh, I'll agree in saying computers last longer if you know what your buying and how to use them.
As far as Fable 2, I'll give you the negatives. - Hard to get around people in towns(never move and it'll make you mad) - As usual Peter Molyneux promises more than what is actually in the game - Really easy to get through Fable and Fable 2 within a very short time(Took me like 8 hours first playthrough on the 1st 1, about 12-15 hours for Fable 2 1st playthrough) - Yes the camera angle sucks every now and then - As for cartoon... ehhh, it's not a full out cartoon style. Just the commercials make it appear a bit more than it is - There's just about no armor in the game(your resistance to damage is all based on strength skill attributes) But now for some of the goods
-1st RPG that can be played fully on co-op(that's why they made so many achievement "Or Watch another Hero" accesible to emphasize on the co-op gameplay) - Less laggier loading than the 1st Fable - In Fable 2 your allowed to own just about everything - You can affect the economy in every town just depending on what you do(If you own stores, like putting up more taxes, or being evil towards the town, stealing stuff, etc.) - You have a variety of fighting styles(Swords, magic, range, and muskets) - You don't have to follow the main questline to have fun with the game - Can have a family(wife, child, the whole shabang!) - Sex (With many partners)
- Whole fighting styles controlled by single buttons(combat by X, Magic by B, range with Y, etc.) - Your furry companion, the dog - The 3 alternate endings This list could go on and on since I'm a die hard fan so I'll end it there. Jspace, you should try it when it comes out for computer. |

So for those who have Fable 2(only me and Clayton) Look for the Knothole Island expansion coming out Dec. 22nd. Along with the download you get special items and unlock the ability to 3 more achievements for the game. It's going to cost a hefty 800MP, but I'd buy for pretty much any price haha | ||

Fable 2 is going to release their second dlc for Fable 2 in May, confirmed recently. It will cost 560MP's and will contain 3 new quests, lots of new items, and more features for your dog will be added on. | ||

Well as far as my research has gone on future installements, is that they intent to go onto Fable 3, 4 5, etc. As many as they need until they feel they should end the story. I've heard bits and pieces about Fable 3, but only confirmed bit is that it will be out somewhere between 2011-2012. | ||

as long as development teams feel like staying on a franchise, I think they should always look to keep extending the universe to any well liked game. I'm excited for god of war 3, but was told, without doubt, that this will end the story. However, I heard that ready of dawn studios was commissioned to make another psp god of war that goes back for more prequal action. Works for me! | ||

I read about a 4-5 page review on GoW3 in one of my past Game Informer magazines. They have some new combat styles and a few cool new tricks up their sleeves for it. Sony has been under a lot of pressure with their unsuccessful PS3 sales and its been rumored their dropping it another $100. If they do I'm most likely going to buy 1. | ||
