I thought this would be a good place to put it also.

Being high up on the leaderboards means that people "monitor" your every little action. I'm sure Sin, Jae, Clown and all the others can agree. Everyone wanted to find out what made Bart so high up. They monitored him for days and were sure that he power ranked. Everyone wants to see what I'm capable of, so when I'm in games, they normally look for every little flaw. This is extremely annoying.
A few examples.

It is extremely hard for me to get into deathmatches anymore. Normally I get kicked. I try to look for near full deathmatches, as those give the most action. Unfortunatly, almost every deathmatch I join has target lock. It's extremely annoying when you get called a "target lock noob" because you joined a target lock game and won. This happened to me today. I joined a Canyon deathmatch with a bunch of Ts and O4s. Anyone who knows who I am knows that I will use the Chinese Type 56. I was basically an O1 during that game, as I used only the Chinese and Sawed-Off Pistols. Anyway, the T3 room leader had target lock on. I play and win by alot. These guys start whining and calling me a "target lock noob." So I'm a noob because I joined a room and obliged to the rules? I'm a noob because I only care for myself on deathmatches?

On a Detriot team deathmatch, I was on team two. It was a rather rough game. I tried to stay up on the top for most of the game, as my team had the bottom. This required me to take out all of the IPCA agents who wanted to take it from me. They spawned in the top spawns alot more than usual. I take out these guys easily. I gave them ample time to get out of their spawns, but they chose to stand in front of their doors. I never left the middle of the four pillars. So I'm obviously a spawn camper because I want to protect the top, you spawn there and won't leave?

It's annoying. People will judge me on a single game. If I happen to have a crappy game, I'm obviously a bad player who killed noobs to get up to the top ten? If I happen to get a few lucky grenades, I'm a grenade whore? If I happen to have a mine in a spot you don't think is fair, once, I'm a spawn miner? If I want my friends on my team and cannot get any other T's in the room, I'm a stacker? If they game messes up, I'm a glitcher?

Honestly, why do people judge on a single game? Do you? Why are people so determined to prove every person on the top of the leaderboard as a crappy player?

Wow! Dr_Cresent, I am totally with you on your entire post! I know exactly what you are talking about. I am thinking of shanty town right now, where it is smart for a team to "hold" an area once a lead is achieved, and there are so many people who don't understand this logic and they cry until their heads fall off. These are the people who are playing with 3 other strangers and not a well-rounded team or "cell." Even when 4 good players are on 1 team (not in a cell) - they still run around doing their own thing and not using the mic. SFJ uses the mic like crazy and we might call for help, but of course, at the wrong "timing" they will think it's dirty playing or whatever.

It's just the 1/3 of people who play SFDM who wreck the game for the rest of us.

I'm not that high on the Lboards but the high ranking people have to act their best all the time. But they lie about spawn camping when the don't come out. or a mine that's not that close to a spawn. They're idiots.
