Recently, a Wisconsin state senator named Jon Erpenbach has suggested adding a 1% surcharge to video games to offset rising juvenile justice systems costs. Not to be outdone, the environmental organization, The Sierra Club, has similarly proposed a tax on games and consoles to encourage kids to get off their asses and go outside.

I don't care, if they rise prices on games as well as consoles, then I'm never going to get a Wii or PS3 or many new games.

Yes, you can. Just get a job like vegsta and then you can buy your own stuff without your parents knowing. Get a job at a video game store and get a discount, lol.

Well I'm 15 still and am so until October 25th this year, I can't drive so couldn't work at a gamestore or anything electroniclly related near my house. Plus, I have school 5/7 days a week, hockey 7/7 days a week, so for me, it'd just be too much.
