A friend and I went to a GameCrazy store for a Gears 2 tourny before midnight. We kicked so much ass, we placed 3rd out of 36 people. We got tonz of free shit, GOW 2 lanyards, the Hammerburst gold codes, exclusive content, it was the shit!!!!

AND GOT GEARS 2 AT MIDNIGHT!!!! ITS FUCKING AWESOME!!!!

Same here. In total I consumed around 3-4 NOS energy drinks throughout 7:30AM-2:45PM(My school day from start to finish)

I beat GoW at my friends house in Co-op, Didn't like it enough to buy it, and gears of war 2, i played at my other friend's house. Didn't like either of them.

I really enjoyed the left for dead demo. The demo had 2 levels, and it's sad to know that there are only 4 levels in the full game. It is confirmed that it's only 2 hours of gameplay, although "replay value" is where it's supposed to be. No two playthroughs should be the same, but this is kind of what I expect from all games I play. I want this game for the awesome co-op and zombie hunting, but unless I get it as a gift, I will wait until amazon.com has it for under $30

What's in the demo is 2 chapters of one level. Each level has 6 chapters. I plan on getting it but I'll be waiting until it's no longer full price.

Yeah, Mush, me too...I want it for less than full price. A major game site (I think IGN) claimed that each level only lasts 30 minutes, so they said it's about 2 hours long. Something is not adding up...maybe it's longer than I heard in the video review!

I've been spending quite a bit of time playing the demo and it can really depend on the difficulty you're playing on. Expert is a bitch. Playing on Expert you will die a lot and restart a lot. But playing on say Normal, which is a cake walk, I can see you finishing one 'Movie' in around 30 minutes.

Additional thought. I fully expect Valve to give us a ton of updates with new maps, weapons, whatever just like they've done such a great job doing in Team Fortress 2 (on PC at least, they tend to neglect the consoles).
