Syphon girl was inquiring about how to do this. I don't have time this second to reply, but I will reply with a long explanation how I do everything my way.
I thought for now, Clayton can describe in detail in his reply how he does it his way, which might work better for her. I'll try to write a reply by today. _________________

Ok, first of all I am using the WORST recorder ever, so i will not even find a link on Amazon for it bcuz it sucks and is discouraging to use... but its simple... you find a recorder, it will either jack to your comp or your 360, you could probably just like ask at Circuit City and say like I wanna record my gameplay from my 360 so I can make a youtube video... So when you get your recorded shots you just put them on Windows Movie Maker which is super simple and when you do that if you have more detailed questions ask away. _________________

Clayton, thanks.
I went to circuit city and bought the pinnacle brand thingy called "Pinnacle DVD maker platinum" - it cost $49.99 and comes with a very good capture device for anything with the yellow, white, and red inputs. This package also comes with editing software that is a step above windows movie maker.
I think Clayton said it best: buy one of these items and we can guide folks from there. One additional catch though: if you go my way, you will have to buy 2 short cables that can split the audio and video, so it goes to the tv and this device. This is only to play without lag. The cables are $15 each at best buy. So, this makes it a minimum of $80 to do it my way. Add tax to that, be ready to spend alot of free time working on videos, be patient, and I can guide you from there. _________________

You can probably pick up a PSP specific one, Sin's the expert though.
